Shipped, and considering.

There are no dates here on purpose. QuorumPony is built by one person around a day job, so things ship when they're right rather than when a calendar says so. Here's where everything stands.

Shipped

Split and recover

Real Shamir Secret Sharing over GF(2^8): turn a secret into a set of cards with any threshold you choose, and recover from any few by scanning a QR code or typing a printed code.

Check a card

Confirm a stored card is intact and which backup it belongs to, without rebuilding or revealing the secret.

Printable PDF cards

Export the whole set to a clean PDF to print, store apart, or hand to people you trust.

Fully offline, open core

No account, no sync, no server, and a cryptographic core published under Apache-2.0 so the math can be read and verified.

On-device safety

Biometric lock, automatic clipboard clearing, and a screen that hides the secret when the app goes to the background.

Six languages

English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, and Portuguese (Brazil), switchable any time inside the app.

Under consideration

More ways in and out

Additional formats for the secret you split and the cards you export, as long as each one stays fully offline and doesn't drag a server or an account into the picture.

An Android version

QuorumPony is iPhone-only today. An Android port is the kind of thing the family has done before, but it is not promised on a timeline.

More languages

Six today. More are welcome, especially with help from people who speak them.
