The short version

QuorumPony is fully offline. No accounts, no sync, no server, no telemetry, no analytics, no advertising. Your secret is split and recovered entirely on your device and is never sent anywhere. If that's all you needed to know, you can stop reading here.

What the app collects

Nothing. There is no QuorumPony server, so there is no account creation, no sign-in, and no data gathering. There are no analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or third-party crash reporters in the app. We do not know who is using QuorumPony, how often, or what you protect with it, because that information never leaves your device and was never sent to us in the first place.

What stays on your device

Your secret, the cards you create, and the app's settings stay on your device. When you split a secret, the work happens on the phone; when you recover one, the same. QuorumPony keeps no copy of the secret once you are done with it. A secret you copy to the clipboard clears automatically after 90 seconds, and the secret is hidden when the app goes to the background.

Network activity

None. QuorumPony makes no network requests at all. No telemetry, no update checks, no license validation, no "phone home" of any kind. The app works fully in airplane mode.

Permissions the app requests

• Camera: used only when you scan a card's QR code to recover or check it. The camera feed is read in-process and is not saved, transmitted, or shared. QuorumPony does not access your photo library.
• Face ID / Touch ID: used only to unlock the app if you enable the biometric lock. Biometric data never leaves your device; the platform handles authentication and reports only success or failure.

That's the list. The app asks for no permissions it does not need.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers. There is no waitlist, no sign-up form, and nothing that collects your details. Fonts are self-hosted, so no third-party font service sees your visit, and there is no CDN in front of the site. Your visit is not profiled.

Children's privacy

QuorumPony is for general audiences and collects data from no one, including children. There are no in-app purchases, no advertising, and no user-generated content visible to other users.

Your rights and choices

Because nothing about you is ever transmitted to us, there is nothing for us to delete on request, we don't have anything to begin with. To remove your QuorumPony data from your device, delete the cards inside the app or remove the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date above will change with it.
